Civil Designer – Full Time, Non-Exempt

Basic Responsibilities:

Prepares designs, drawings, and related technical information under the direction of engineers.

Organizational Relationship:

Reports to the Civil Group Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Determine and implement drawing sequence, layout and presentation.
• Able to size various system components in routine design functions and refining rough sketches.
• Refine sketches and details, layouts, plans and drawings in Civil3D.
• Plan and conducting a complete simple routine project.
• Develops, modified and/or reviews drawings according to established standards.
• Routine work is reviewed on completion.
• Non-routine work is reviewed in progress and upon completion.
• Work to meet or exceed QA standards.
• All other duties assigned by Manager

Skill, Knowledge, Education and Experience:

• CADD Certificate with five or more years of experience.
• Must have the ability to multi-task, follow instructions and work well with others.
