Meier Architecture • Engineering Names Thomas Kastner, AIA to Board of Directors

Meier Architecture • Engineering (Meier) is pleased to announce that Thomas Kastner, AIA, Principal Architect, has been appointed to the Meier Board of Directors. Mr. Kastner becomes the first Architect to serve on the Board in the firm’s 44-plus-year history, a milestone that reflects the growing strategic role of design leadership in Meier’s future.

Mr. Kastner brings more than 44 years of architectural experience to the board, spanning Historic renovations, multi-story civic projects, healthcare facilities, commercial developments, and federal work. Registered as an architect in Florida, Oregon, Texas, and Washington, he holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hawaii and a Bachelor of Science in Government from Cornell University. At Meier, he has distinguished himself as a bridge builder, translating complex design and construction concepts into clear, actionable terms for clients, technical teams, and building officials alike.

“Joining the Board is both an honor and a responsibility I take seriously,” said Kastner. “Meier has been delivering exceptional work for over four decades because of the talent and dedication of every person in this firm. I look forward to contributing at the Board level to ensure we continue growing thoughtfully, serving our clients well, and creating opportunities for the next generation of architects and engineers.”

Meier President Bobbi Keen, CPA, CMA, expressed enthusiasm for the appointment: “Thomas brings a depth of architectural knowledge and client insight that will strengthen our Board’s perspective as we plan for Meier’s next chapter. Having someone with his technical expertise and relationship-building skills at the table is an asset for the entire firm.”
