Leadership Team

Paul Giever, PE, President – Mr. Giever has the overall responsibility for leadership of firm. He is responsible for ensuring that the company is profitable, works with the Management Team to develop and implement policy and procedures of the corporation. He is responsible for the performance of the Group Managers of architecture, civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical, and Director of Projects. Mr. Giever provides key input into the development of the corporate Strategic Plan, and current year Marketing Plan. Bobbi Keen, CPA, CMA, Vice President – As the Vice President, Ms. Keen assists in establishing and preparing Meier’s mission, values, and strategic goals. She manages the company’s finances, human resources, business development, and general operations activities. She contributes to sales innovations, strategic business development, and the profitability of the company. She is responsible for maximizing the company’s operational performance and achieving its financial goals. [email protected]

Anthony Cockbain, PE, Director of Projects/QA Manager – Mr. Cockbain has more than 25 years of experience in the field of civil/structural engineering and project management. His experience includes independent qualified engineering assessments, and designs for a wide variety of commercial and residential structures. [email protected]

Gary Fleming, Structural Group Manager – Mr. Fleming has over 36 years of experience in the field of structural engineering and project management. He currently serves as a Project Manager for multi-discipline projects where he is responsible for scheduling and budgeting, as well as preparing and reviewing project documents. [email protected]

Colin Bates, PE, Mechanical Group Manager – Mr. Bates has 17 years of experience in mechanical engineering including commercial, educational, and federal projects. His areas of expertise include plumbing design, HVAC design, 3D modeling and animation, building energy modeling, and design project management. [email protected]

Thomas Kastner, Architecture Group Manager – Mr. Kastner has over 37 years experience in all parts of architectural practice with emphasis on academic, civic and healthcare projects. His international experience has allowed him to manage a wide range of projects in an equally wide range of geographical and cultural venues. [email protected]
Project Management Team

Alex Butterfield, PE, Mechanical Engineer – Mr. Butterfield is Mechanical Engineer with over 14 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and general engineering design. His background includes work with Department of Energy sites, including Hanford and Idaho National Laboratory. Currently, he is responsible for engineering designs related to HVAC, plumbing, high pressure pipe design, as well as design drawing preparation and engineering calculations. [email protected]

Ed Luebben, AIA Architect– Mr. Luebben has over 43 years of architectural experience including over 25 years providing project management. Responsibilities include architect of record, interacting with permitting agencies, assisting contractors during bid and construction phases, and coordinating all consultant services. Project experience includes work with municipal, commercial, educational, industrial, religious, institutional, governmental, winery, and historical architectural design. [email protected]

Jeremiah Newell, PE, Mechanical Engineer – Mr. Newell has over 17 years of experience in mechanical engineering. He is currently responsible for project management and mechanical engineering designs of industrial, commercial, and educational facilities. Duties include project management, analysis and design, developing construction documents, estimating, construction observation, and construction administration. He is experienced in applying building, state and local codes, as well as various other project/client specific codes during the design process and construction phase. [email protected]
