Meier provided comprehensive architectural and engineering design services for the new Umatilla Medical Center, a modern two-story facility that replaces the previous modular clinic. This center serves as the new home for Family Health Associates (FHA) Umatilla Clinic, enhancing healthcare accessibility for the community.

Facility Highlights:

• First Floor:
  • Features 12 exam rooms, provider offices, a treatment room, lab, vaccine room, and a spacious reception and waiting area.
  • Support Spaces include dedicated Medical Assistant workstations, a flex consultant room, and a large education/meeting room.
• Second Floor:
  • Community Meeting Room: Available for local events and gatherings.
  • Physical Therapy Suite: Equipped with a therapy area, treatment room, and therapist office.
  • Additional Tenant Space: Unleased suite with large restrooms and showers.
  • Staff Amenities: A generous breakroom with an attached outdoor patio.

Design and Engineering Contributions:

• Site Planning: Collaborated with the Owner’s Construction Manager to consolidate multiple lots, enabling phased construction that kept the existing clinic operational throughout the construction process.
• Engineering Services: Meier provided Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering solutions to ensure the facility’s long-term functionality and efficiency.
